Comic Submissions

The Colorado Springs Comedy Festival is proud to share the Loonees Comedy Corner stage with 20 hand-selected comics from across the nation. Every year we compile feedback from our performers, and this year is no different (if you were with us in 2025, you’ll note some of the changes below!). Selected performers will receive:

  1. At least 2 performance opportunities at the festival, all held at Loonees Comedy Corner,

  2. A refund of their submission fee,

  3. Complimentary professional photos from all shows, along with headshots (if requested),

  4. Complimentary tape from all shows,

  5. Complimentary meal at networking event to be held Saturday, October 10th,

  6. Discounted lodging information for our out-of-town comedians.

Our 8 Best of Fest comics will be chosen from their festival performances, and the winner will receive a comedy special produced by our partner, Open Bar Comedy

And we’re proud to share that our festival has directly resulted in over 2 dozen comedians getting booked at Loonees Comedy Corner for either feature or headlining weekends.

Submission Dates:

  1. Early bird submissions available March 15th-April 30th, $15

  2. General submissions available May 1st- August 19th, $20

  3. Last call submissions available August 20th - August 31st, $30

    ALL COMICS, REGARDLESS OF SELECTION, WILL BE NOTIFIED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 5TH

In addition to traditional comedy showcases, our festival will include:

  1. A roast battle

  2. A blue comedy showcase

  3. A clean comedy showcase
